Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 151976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary school. She attended Ouachita High School to complete her secondary studies. But, she transferred to River Oaks High School after the summer. She was a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after the completion of her degree. Ward quit school at thirteen and relocated to New York so that she was able to begin modeling. She had the idea to attempt acting in the following years. She first played an uncredited part in 1970's soap-opera All My Children, and later was cast in the lead in a drama for teens on NBC Prime Time Malibu Shores. Then, in the fall of 1996, she was in the role as Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. In 1999she began to pursue an acting career in the film industry, starring as her psychological Brittany Foster in the erotic film The In Crowd. The film in theaters was a failure, but enjoyed some popularity on cable and on DVD. Ward was then in a crucial support role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. The other roles she has played include several direct-to DVD films as well as guest roles in TV series, such as Friends. In 2009she landed the role Chloe Kmet kothe mother of a young gymna ston on the ABC Family drama series Make It or Break It being a part in the principal cast for the first two seasons of the show. Her personal life includes a marriage to director David C. Robinson. They have a son called Cameron.
